How DCP Creation works

  1. You send a master export (we’ll help you choose the best format).

  2. You send us the final sound mix: 5.1 surround or stereo

  3. We confirm specs, audio configuration, and delivery requirements.

  4. We build the DCP and run a thorough QC pass.

  5. You receive the final package with clear instructions for delivery or ingestion.

Specs we commonly support:

  • Any video resolution, most commonly HD or 4K/UHD

  • Any video aspect ratio, most commonly 16×9 or 2.39 (scope)

  • Any video frame rates, most commonly 24fps or 25fps

  • Stereo or 5.1 surround audio mixes

  • Captions and subtitles, either burned-in or provided as a separate file

  • Rush options based on availability

Our QC Checklist:

  • A comprehensive, 37-point verification to ensure DCI compliance

  • Video and sound mix sync check

  • Playback and audio channel check

  • Subtitled and caption DCI compliance check (if provided)

  • Subtitle and caption spell check and sync check (if provided)
